First a little about me. I am an international instructor and performer, I have been in the flow arts and fire spinning community since 2008 and have been spinning levi since 2012. I have beta tested for multiple wand companies and have worked with them to make wands that are quality and well made.
Emazing Lights review.
If I could give it a negative number I would.
First let’s talk about the wand. I have attached images.
The first image is of one of their wand after 10 minutes of spinning. IT SNAPPED IN HALF! The 2nd image is of 3 of the same wands sitting next to each other, besides one of them being a different length which tells me quality control is not there, they also all 3 have holes drilled in different places for each wand! (see 3rd image) So again no quality control. The material they use for the wand is prone to snap.
Levi wands require precise placement for the hole for the string, this alone WILL throw a wand out of balance if it is done done correctly and with precise placement for the length of the wand. improper placement of this hole will make a wand unbalanced. I have seen two of them snap in classes I was teaching, and these were beginner classes!
Balance on this wand is horrible and ever changing.
Wands are balance not only top and bottom but front and back and also side to side. So the emazing lights wand has a design flaw from the start. the lights can move depending on how you put them on they will have more weight on the sides or front and back or any other angle in between because the the lights are like little glovers finger lights on the end (see images 4 and 5) adding this to the end of a wand will make it very hard to balance.
recharging, you have to keep purchasing batteries not rechargeable. So adding expense to your inexpensive wand.
Company and ethics.
This company has stolen other companies ides and designs, and even has been sued for it. If you have a problem with the wand they will tell you that it’s your fault and will not support the product. I have heard from people that work there first hand some horrible stories about how they had to handle customers as well as how they personally were treated working there.
This company is taking advantage of our community by offering a cheap prop that WILL BREAK and then offering zero support for their product and say that we are the problem and how we spin it when it does fail.
If you got this wand and have struggled with Levi it is not you it is the wand.
